JENNIE Unveils Unreleased Tracks in Groundbreaking Headlining Set at Open’er Festival 2026

JENNIE debuted her solo career with the 2018 single ‘Solo’, followed in 2023 by ‘You & Me’ and the collaborative hit ‘One Of The Girls’, which features Lily‑Rose Depp. After releasing her debut album ‘Ruby’ last year, the artist is already hinting at forthcoming material.

On Saturday night she headlined the Open’er Festival, delivering a 17‑track performance that drew heavily from ‘Ruby’. In addition to ‘One Of The Girls’ and a Tame Impala remix of ‘Dracula’, the set featured three brand‑new songs.

Introducing the new material, she asked the crowd, “Open’er, do you want to hear some unreleased tracks?” before launching into ‘Lock It Down’, a pulsating dance‑pop anthem about a “secret love affair”. She urged everyone to join her on the dance floor.

She also performed the emotionally charged ballad ‘Heaven’, reflecting on heartbreak, and closed the show with her breakout hit ‘Like Jennie’, followed by the dreamy unreleased track ‘Less Than A Lover’. “I wrote this song thinking about summer,” she explained, “so sharing it with so many people feels incredibly special.”

She concluded with, “I can’t wait to share this new music with you soon.”

In a recent interview with V Magazine, JENNIE reflected on the evolution of her artistry: “I’m eager for this new chapter to unfold, not merely because I’m entering my thirties, but because I have countless exciting projects in the pipeline.” She added that “Ruby” allowed her to explore fresh sounds, reconnect with her passion for music, and experiment with new approaches. “All the decisions, the thinking, and the ideas come from me entirely. It feels like I truly own my creative journey,” she said.
