Jennifer Lopez made a surprise appearance at Prime Video’s 2026 Obsessed Fest to kick off the final panel of the day, introducing the hockey romance series Off Campus. She joined cast members Belmont Cameli, Ella Bright, Stephen Kalyn, Mika Abdalla, Antonio Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks, and Josh Heuston, along with creator and showrunner Louisa Levy.
Lopez has a personal connection to the show—when Abdalla’s character Allie wears her iconic green Versace dress during the Halloween episode and dances to “On The Floor,” it marks the moment Allie first meets her future love interest, portrayed by Kalyn. Lopez performed her latest single “Everything’s Fine (PM)” and the classic hit “On The Floor” for the gathered fans.
Off Campus, based on Elle Kennedy’s book series, has quickly become a standout success for Prime Video, reaching 36 million viewers globally within its first 12 days. The series ranks as Prime Video’s third-largest debut behind The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and Fallout.
The first season follows music student Hannah Wells (Bright) in a fake dating storyline with Garrett Graham (Cameli), the captain of Briar University’s hockey team and son of a pro hockey legend. The second season will adapt Kennedy’s third novel, The Score, centering on Dean Di Laurentis (Kalyn) and aspiring actress Allie Hayes (Abdalla)—two fan-favorite characters from season one.
The event, held in Hollywood on Saturday, brought together Prime Video’s young adult and coming-of-age lineup for a day of panels, photo ops, and meet-and-greets. Additional titles represented included The Love Hypothesis, Overcompensating, Every Year After, Elle, The Devil’s Mouth, My Fault: London, Maxton Hall, The Last Sunrise, Drawn Together, and Red, White and Royal Blue Wedding.
