The New York Jets filled a vacancy on their 53-man roster Thursday, announcing the signing of offensive lineman Kohl Levao from their practice squad. In corresponding moves, the team also re-signed cornerback Jordan Clark and kicker Blake Grupe to the practice squad after both were waived from the active roster earlier in the week.
Levao has spent the past two seasons on New York’s practice squad without seeing regular-season action. He joined the organization after a stint in the UFL following his departure from the University of Hawaii after the 2022 season. His promotion provides additional depth along the offensive line as the Jets prepare to face the Chicago Bears on Sunday without left guard Dylan Parham, who is sidelined with a knee injury.
