School is out for the summer.
Over the past nine weeks, Professor John Harbaugh has imparted a wealth of lessons to the 90 students in his class. Equally, the students have taught Harbaugh valuable insights into what to expect when everyone reconvenes in late July.
Officially hired on January 20, Harbaugh immediately began gathering intelligence on the roster he would inherit. Three months later, the bulk of the orientation began.
The Giants launched their offseason program on April 7 and concluded it on June 10. During this period, they conducted numerous individual drills, offensive, defensive, and special‑teams meetings, followed by on‑field team work, ten organized team activities, and a mandatory three‑day minicamp. Throughout, no shoulder pads were used and no contact was allowed. Yet the foundation for how the Giants will operate this season was firmly established.
