Jon Moxley Claims Inaugural Continental Challenge Cup in Emotional AEW All In Finale

Jon Moxley captured the inaugural Continental Challenge Cup at AEW All In: London.

Moxley and Nigel McGuinness faced off in the finals for the Continental Championship. Moxley advanced through earlier rounds by defeating Jack Perry, Jay White, and fellow Death Riders member Claudio Castagnoli. McGuinness earned his spot after overcoming Katsuyori Shibata, Hechicero, and Kyle O’Reilly.

Despite McGuinness’s valiant effort, Moxley was determined to leave London with both the Continental Cup and Championship. In a pivotal moment, Moxley attempted to remove the tape supporting McGuinness’s injured ankle. However, McGuinness countered by wrapping the tape across Moxley’s face.

The back-and-forth contest lasted over 17 minutes. In the closing moments, Moxley applied an ankle lock. As McGuinness crawled toward the ropes, Moxley released the hold briefly before following up with a curb stomp. He then locked in the ankle lock once more.

McGuinness continued crawling toward the ropes, coming inches away from breaking the submission. The pain proved too much, and he ultimately tapped out. Following the match, the Death Riders emerged to join their leader as Moxley departed as the inaugural AEW Continental Challenge Cup winner while retaining the title.

The Wembley Stadium crowd delivered an emotional, thunderous ovation for Nigel McGuinness following the match.
