Love intercepted a Jacoby Brissett pass along the left sideline that was targeted at star wide receiver Michael Wilson, making the catch with 11:39 remaining in the third quarter. The Seahawks capitalized on the turnover by driving downfield for a field goal on the possession that followed, pushing their advantage to 17-7.
Love’s interception was one of several eye-catching plays for Seattle on the day, which also featured Jaxon Smith-Njigba’s spectacular 82-yard receiving touchdown in the opening quarter. The Seahawks extended their lead further to 24-7 by early in the fourth quarter at the time of this report.
