Kamal Adwan Hospital Halts Services Amid Israeli Troop Advance in Northern Gaza

On Thursday, Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza temporarily halted operations and evacuated its staff as Israeli military vehicles moved toward the facility, according to the hospital’s administration and Palestinian media.

The hospital announced a one‑day suspension of services to safeguard medical personnel, patients, and visitors while Israeli forces maneuvered near its perimeter.

According to Quds News Network, staff were told to evacuate as Israeli military vehicles neared the area and reports of gunfire emerged near the hospital.

Elsewhere in northern Gaza, an Israeli incursion into Beit Lahia resulted in the deaths of two Palestinians, including a 13‑year‑old boy, with several others injured.

Palestinian medical sources identified the victims as Hisham Hani Subh and Aed Mohammed Salama, aged 13, saying they were struck by Israeli gunfire near Khalifa School while Israeli vehicles advanced near Al‑Ribat Mosque.

Palestinian sources characterized the incidents as breaches of the ceasefire presently in place in Gaza.

In southern Gaza, Israeli military vehicles allegedly opened fire near a cemetery west of Khan Younis, with bullets striking tents housing displaced Palestinians; Israeli helicopters were also observed operating and firing to the east of the city.

In central Gaza, Israeli artillery reportedly hit a zone northwest of the Al‑Bureij refugee camp, and gunfire from Israeli military vehicles was noted east of the Al‑Da’wa neighbourhood, northeast of the Al‑Nuseirat camp.
