Poland’s Kamil Majchrzak delivered a stunning quarterfinal upset on Friday, defeating top-seeded Canadian Felix Auger‑Aliassime 6‑4, 6‑3 in 69 minutes at the Libema Open in ‘s‑Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.
Majchrzak won 85.1% (40 of 47) of his service points and secured his second career Top‑10 victory. He will contest his third ATP semifinal, facing the winner of Saturday’s quarterfinal between third‑seed Daniil Medvedev of Russia and Marin Cilic of Croatia.
Medvedev defeated Thijs Boogaard of the Netherlands 6‑3, 4‑6, 7‑6 (6), while Cilic rallied to beat Nuno Borges of Portugal 3‑6, 7‑6 (5), 6‑3.
Second‑seed Alex de Minaur will meet France’s Adrian Mannarino in the opposite semifinal. De Minaur dispatched Benjamin Bonzi of France 6‑2, 6‑4, while Mannarino overcame China’s Zhang Zhizhen 7‑6 (4), 6‑3.

Defending champion Taylor Fritz rallied for a second consecutive day, securing a 5‑7, 7‑5, 7‑5 victory over Italy’s Mattia Bellucci in Stuttgart, Germany.
Ranked No. 2, Fritz was two points from defeat by Spain’s Martin Landaluce on Thursday before mounting a comeback. With the second and third sets knotted at 5‑5, the 11‑ace Fritz raised his intensity to reach the semifinals.
Fritz will next meet Kazakhstan’s third‑seed Alexander Bublik. Bublik defeated France’s Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard 7‑6 (5), 7‑6 (3). Czech fourth‑seed Jiri Lehecka also secured a semifinal berth with a 6‑4, 7‑6 (4) win over sixth‑seed Frances Tiafoe.
