Karina Steen, wife of Kevin Owens, is publicly dissatisfied with comments made by WWE broadcaster Cathy Kelley during a recent podcast appearance.
During an episode of Insight with Chris Van Vliet released this Tuesday, Kelley revealed her adult autism diagnosis and highlighted Owens’ supportive role due to his knowledge of the condition via their son Owen.
Karina criticized Kelley for discussing her son’s alleged medical background without parental consent, clarifying that the statements about Owen were inaccurate.
“As someone who avoids drama, I must defend my child when spoken about publicly. @cathykelley referenced my son in an interview. Why would she share details about someone else’s child’s medical history without permission?” Karina posted on Instagram Stories.
“What she said is false. My family remains private, and as a mother, it frustrates me when others discuss my children without consent. Needing to address this publicly is absurd,” she added.
Karina’s private Instagram profile has over 40,000 followers.
Kevin Owens, who had neck surgery last summer without a confirmed return timeline, mentioned his 6-foot-8 teenager son Owen has considered pro wrestling as a career path.
Cathy Kelley’s Autism Diagnosis —
Kelley disclosed her adult autism diagnosis, which has improved her understanding of her social interactions. She expressed gratitude afterward, sharing:
- Today’s messages and comments from people sharing their stories and diagnoses deeply moved me.
- Many late-diagnosed individuals relate—I spent my life trying to blend in, not stand out.
- Finally understanding why things made sense.
- Thank you to everyone who showed kindness. I hope to reciprocate one day.
