Conservative commentator Katie Zacharia has been nominated to serve as the next U.S. president’s press secretary under Donald Trump.
A White House official confirmed on Friday that the position had been extended to Zacharia.
The vacancy remains open following Karoline Leavitt’s departure as former chief reporter in August.
