KATSEYE has announced their withdrawal from Olivia Rodrigo’s inaugural Daisy Chain festival due to an injury sustained by one of their members.
The one-day event will make its debut at Great Park in Irvine, California this Saturday (August 29), featuring an lineup of women and female-fronted artists across two stages, alongside non-profit and community-focused organizations.
Rodrigo will headline the festival, with additional performances from Chappell Roan, Bikini Kill, Doechii, Garbage, Mitski, The Breeders, Santigold, Rachel Chinouriri, Die Spitz, Eli, Not For Radio, and Quiet Light. Special guests Karen O, Sarah McLachlan, and Stevie Nicks will also appear.
Originally scheduled to perform, KATSEYE has now confirmed their withdrawal due to injury.
The group currently has two members on hiatus—Manon Bannerman and Sophia Laforteza—and has revealed that Megan Skiendiel sprained her ankle during rehearsals for their upcoming tour.

“We are deeply sorry to announce that we cannot perform at Daisy Chain Fields this Saturday,” the group shared in a statement on WeVerse. “Megan sprained her ankle during yesterday’s tour rehearsal, and after medical evaluation, doctors have advised her to rest and allow proper healing so we can be ready for our upcoming tour.”
The statement continued: “We understand how much our fans were anticipating our performance, and it pains us to disappoint anyone who made plans to attend. We were particularly excited for Daisy Chain Fields because it represents more than just music—it’s about the greater mission of joy and community.”
“Our thoughts go out to Olivia and all the incredible artists, non-profit organizations, and volunteers who have dedicated their time to making this day so special. It promises to be an amazing event, and we look forward to seeing everyone on tour.”
Devon Again will replace KATSEYE on the lineup.
Tomorrow’s event will feature alternating performances between the Dandelion and Marigold stages, ensuring none of the 14 scheduled sets overlap. Stage times are available here.
Speaking about the festival in a June interview with Good Morning America, Rodrigo explained: “When I envisioned this festival, I pictured girls sitting beneath trees, crafting daisy chains, flower crowns, or friendship bracelets. I also love the concept of a daisy chain—how we can all be individual links in something larger than ourselves.”
Proceeds from the festival will support non-profit organizations dedicated to advocating for women and girls, with partners including Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Center For Reproductive Rights, FreeFrom, Johns Hopkins Center For Indigenous Health, National Women’s Law Center, and Planned Parenthood. Daisy Chain Fields will also offer educational resources, community art experiences, local vendors, fan pop-ups, and immersive installations, with a focus on reproductive rights, maternal health, economic empowerment, domestic violence prevention, and gender equity.
Following this weekend, Rodrigo will launch her extensive ‘Unraveled’ world tour next month, beginning in North America and arriving at London’s O2 arena next April. Full tour dates and remaining tickets are available here.
