Following Thursday’s dramatic recruitment of King Kenny by the traitors—an episode punctuated by his deliciously menacing laugh—the YouTuber and former aspiring boxer injected a fresh, fiendish energy into the turret.
“This threesome’s going to be different,” predicted lead traitor Maya Jama. “There’s a new vibrance.”
Her reluctant accomplice, James Acaster, also expressed satisfaction with their choice of ally.
“As predicted, Kenny’s taken to this like a duck to water,” the comedian observed, visibly relieved. “He’s the opposite of me. So relaxed. He’s a natural-born traitor.”
Kenny is clearly relishing the role, barely concealing his delight when Miranda Hart confided over breakfast, “You’re my main faithful.”
The self-styled modern-day Miss Marple warned Kenny to watch for anyone behaving differently, reasoning that “if you’re suddenly a traitor, you’re going to be a bit on high alert.”
“I agree,” he replied, straight-faced.
In the diary room, he elaborated: “The first taste of being on the other side—it does feel good, because you have the power.
“I’m good at staying calm because as a boxer you have to have a poker face. You can’t let the other people know that you’re intimidated.”
Later, however, he admitted: “On the outside I look calm, cool, collected, but on the inside I’m incredibly nervous.”
