Lake Baringo in Kenya’s Rift Valley has risen to unprecedented levels in recent years. Scientists attribute the surge to extreme rainfall linked to climate change, which is flooding communities and forcing crocodiles closer to human settlements. Consequently, incidents involving crocodiles have increased, raising concerns for both wildlife and residents in the region.
