Kerala will face reigning Ranji Trophy champions Jammu & Kashmir in two practice matches as part of their preparation for the upcoming domestic season.
The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) has finalized the squad for the fixtures, scheduled to take place in Srinagar from September 11 to 17.
Vishnu Vinod appointed Captain
Vishnu Vinod will captain the Kerala side, leading an experienced core that includes Sachin Baby, Mohammed Azharuddeen, Salman Nizar, veteran Jalaj Saxena, and Aditya Anand Sarwate.
The squad also features several promising young talents who have impressed in the Kerala Cricket League and other recent domestic tournaments.
Ahammed Imran, who recently guided Thrissur Titans to the Kerala Cricket League title, has been included, while the pace attack will be led by Akhin Sathar and Eden Apple Tom.
After reaching the Ranji Trophy final in 2024-25, Kerala had a forgettable 2025-26 campaign, managing only one victory and failing to progress beyond the group stages.
