Kevin Knight has spoken highly of veterans QT Marshall and AR Fox, crediting them with playing a pivotal role in shaping his professional wrestling career.
Knight launched his career in NJPW’s LA Dojo in 2020 and quickly moved up the ranks, earning a spot on the NJPW roster before becoming a prominent name in AEW.
A former AEW TNT Champion, Knight recently appeared on 11Alive, where he discussed how his deep roots in Atlanta continue to fuel his growth in the industry.
“It helped shape me because, you know, we’re in the land of ATLiens. Like here in Atlanta, we are not normal. We’re not from here. We think differently, and I think that mentality, like everybody in Atlanta is somebody, and that mentality just helped me create this character, create this larger-than-life character that stands out every time I’m on television,” Knight shared.
He also heaped praise on Marshall and Fox, adding: “And guys like QT Marshall and AR Fox helped me from the ground up. Even when I went to go train in Seattle, they just helped me so much in just learning the business so that we could just cultivate who I really am on screen.“
Over the years, Knight has continued to develop himself into a standout performer, now established as a multi-time champion in AEW.
