KKR & Co. Inc. said it has acquired a portfolio of eight UK logistics properties totaling 2.7 million square feet from Ares Real Estate funds. The transaction was completed with Mirastar, KKR Real Estate’s European industrial and logistics platform.
The portfolio consists of modern, high-quality facilities in established distribution markets across England’s Midlands, South East and North, including Corby, Doncaster, Stoke-on-Trent and Milton Keynes. The sites benefit from strong access to major population centers and key transport networks.
According to KKR, all eight properties are fully occupied, with a weighted average lease term to break of nine years and a diversified tenant base. Approximately 60% of the rent roll is generated by investment-grade tenants or subsidiaries of investment-grade parent companies.
Shares of KKR, which trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker KKR, closed Monday at $100.83, gaining $2.02, or 2.1%. In pre-market trading, the stock was up 0.01% at $100.84.
