Lainey Wilson Set to Host 2026 CMA Awards for Third Consecutive Year

60th anniversary award show marks singer’s third straight year leading Country Music’s Biggest Night

Lainey Wilson is confirmed to return as host of the CMA Awards when Country Music’s Biggest Night broadcasts live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 18.

This will mark Wilson’s third consecutive year in the hosting role for the award show, which is set to commemorate its 60th anniversary in 2026. After co-hosting with Luke Bryan during her inaugural year in 2024, Wilson has served as the solo host for the past two consecutive years.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be hosting the CMA Awards again this year, especially with it being the 60th anniversary,” Wilson, a 12-time CMA Award winner including Entertainer of the Year in 2025, said in a statement. “I’ve had so much fun hosting the last two years, and this one’s going to be extra special. Can’t wait to see y’all in November!”

Wilson made the announcement during her appearance on ESPN College GameDay, which broadcast from Louisiana State University in Wilson’s home state of Louisiana.

The CMA Awards organization announced in a press release that this year’s ceremony will mark the 60th anniversary of Country Music’s Biggest Night. The show is expected to include special tributes, with particular attention to Dolly Parton, who became the first-ever female solo host of the CMA Awards in 1988.

The nominees for the 60th annual CMA Awards will be unveiled during a special announcement on Thursday, September 10, broadcast on Good Morning America. The award ceremony will air on Wednesday, November 18, with coverage available on Disney+ and ABC.
