Kim Le Court of Mauritius claimed stage three of the Lloyd’s Tour of Britain Women, taking the overall green jersey with a decisive move on the Great Orme climb.
Le Court’s team-mate from AG Insurance‑Soudal broke away from the breakaway group with three kilometres remaining on the winding final ascent in Llandudno, a 104.7‑kilometre course that started in Mold.

The 30‑year‑old finished 13 seconds ahead of Germany’s Liane Lippert (Movistar), with Sweden’s Caroline Andersson (Liv Alula Jayco) a further seven seconds adrift in third.
Le Court now leads the general classification by 26 seconds on Lippert, while the Netherlands’ Lorena Wiebes sits in third, 35 seconds back.
Having taken the green jersey on the first day of last year’s race, Le Court suffered a heavy crash in the rain on stage two from Hartlepool. This year she demonstrated her resilience, launching a powerful solo attack in dry conditions to reclaim the lead.
“You can never be too confident,” Le Court said. “After taking the green jersey on day one and crashing on day two last year, we’ll stay focused and keep fighting until the finish.”
The first two stages were dominated by world‑class sprinter Lorena Wiebes, who captured both fast finishes but lost overall leadership after the Great Orme stage.
Wiebes, 27, also trailed the points jersey by 42ications time to Le Court but remained close to the overall top.Britain’s Lauren Dickson of FDJ United‑Suez claimed the mountains classification, leading the competition by 12 points.
Belgium’s Fleur Moors (Lidl‑Trek) retained the white jersey for the best young rider.
