According to Lebanese state media, as reported by Anadolu, Israeli forces employed phosphorus shells alongside airstrikes and intense artillery bombardment across multiple locations in southern Lebanon during the night and early Saturday.

The National News Agency (NNA) confirmed that heavy artillery shelling by Israeli forces struck Mansouri, the area around Bayt al-Sayyad, and the outskirts of Majdal Zoun early on Saturday.

The agency also reported extensive explosions in Mansouri, Majdal Zoun, and Bayt al-Sayyad overnight.

NNA stated that residential areas in Bayt al-Sayyad suffered severe damage, with every house in the town affected.

Comparable explosions were noted in Hadatha, Beit Yahoun, and Aita al-Jabal, accompanied by machine-gun fire directed at adjacent valleys.

Additionally, Israeli drones persisted in overflying villages and towns across the western and central sectors of southern Lebanon.

In a separate incident, NNA reported that Israeli warplanes executed two airstrikes on Ali al-Taher hill, located on the northern outskirts of Nabatieh al-Fawqa, at approximately 6:45 am local time (0345 GMT).

The agency further detailed that Israeli artillery conducted heavy shelling on the outskirts of Dawhat Kfar Remman, near Dabsha hill, and the wooded area of Ali al-Taher from overnight into early Saturday, utilizing phosphorus shells.
