Leeds United have confirmed the signing of Wales international Harry Wilson on a four‑year contract.
The 29‑year‑old attacking midfielder joins as a free agent after his contract expired at Fulham at the end of June.
Wilson, who joined Fulham (the Cottagers) from Liverpool for £12 million in 2022 after a loan spell, enjoyed his best Premier League season last term, netting 10 goals in 36 appearances.
“When the season concluded and I became a free agent, I felt Leeds were the club that genuinely showed interest in me,” he said.
“As a player, you want to play for a team that truly wants you and is doing everything possible to secure you,” he added.
“I’m really excited. It’s a massive club in the Premier League. To play for Leeds, you need a big personality.
You must be able to handle pressure—the demands of both the club and its supporters. You need to thrive under pressure and deliver on the pitch.”
Wilson, who has earned 69 caps for Wales, is Leeds’s first signing of the summer.
The club has also been linked with moves for Southampton midfielder Shea Charles and German midfielder Julian Brandt, who departed Borussia Dortmund after his contract expired at the end of the season.
