Leeds United and Nottingham Forest are among several clubs chasing Chelsea striker Liam Delap ahead of the September 1 transfer deadline, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
The 23-year-old forward has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and is expected to leave the club before the summer transfer window closes.
Como initially expressed interest in Delap earlier this month, but his representatives have since communicated to Chelsea that he prefers to remain in the Premier League.
Everton have shown interest in acquiring the young striker, though they now face competition from both Leeds and Forest, who are also keen to secure his signature.
Chelsea have reportedly set a valuation of £50m for Delap, but it’s believed an acceptable bid in the region of £40m might convince them to sell.
Crystal Palace have also been linked with the former Ipswich Town forward, though they are unlikely to act unless Jean-Philippe Mateta departs the club first.
