Notable photographs capturing Oasis’s reunion tour and Charli XCX’s performance of Brat at Glastonbury Festival have been nominated for this year’s Abbey Road Music Photography Awards.

The competition, which evaluated over 24,500 entries from 42 nations, announced a shortlist of 40 finalists spanning eight categories on Tuesday.

Artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Fontaines DC, Tame Impala and Sombr appear in the collection, while additional images featuring FKA Twigs have been chosen for the judges’ awards, outside the main competition.

All finalist photographs will be exhibited in the LED tunnel at Outernet London’s entertainment complex from 8 to 14 September.

These entries also comprise the five works shortlisted for the fan‑voted Music Moment of the Year award.

Voting can be cast online through the official sites of the Music Photography Awards (MPA, external) and Abbey Road Studios, as well as in person at the exhibition.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in the London studios—renowned for the 1969 Beatles album of the same name—on 24 September.
