Liberia Celebrates 179th Year of Independence

On behalf of the United States of America, I extend my congratulations to the people of Liberia as they mark their nation’s 179th year of independence.

On this occasion, we reaffirm our enduring partnership and friendship with the Government and people of Liberia. I look forward to building upon our close collaboration to address priorities that will further strengthen our bilateral relationship and foster greater security and prosperity for both nations.
