Lily Allen has teamed up with Lovehoney to release a new line of sex toys, highlighted by a pale blue polka‑dot butt plug that references a lyric from her “West End Girl” album.
The collaboration emerged during Allen’s “West End Girl Tour” earlier this year, when she hand‑picked six designs for the collection. One of the pieces is the blue polka‑dot butt plug, a product that follows her earlier mention of similar items in the track “Pussy Palace,” where she sings about “sex toys, butt plugs, lube inside.”
Before the official launch, a limited‑edition USB bearing the same shape and blue polka‑dot pattern was sold with physical copies of the album, marketed strictly as a data‑storage device.
Allen explained, “The butt plug was a reference on the album that we then made into a limited collection of USBs, which became a really popular collector’s item. So we thought it would be fun to make it properly and launch it almost a year to the day since we released ‘West End Girl.’”
She added, “For me, toys can help you to better understand your body and learn what you like. I’ve been able to use that knowledge to express what I want in my relationships, which is empowering. And I hope this collection helps others feel similarly.”
‘West End Girl’ marked Allen’s fifth studio album and the long‑awaited follow‑up to 2018’s “No Shame.” It peaked at number two in the UK and earned a BRITs 2026 nomination for Album of the Year.
The record explored her separation from “Stranger Things” actor David Harbour. Allen described the album as “not a cruel album” and clarified that it was “a mixture of fact and fiction” created out of “desperation.”
Critics awarded ‘West End Girl’ a four‑star review from NME, and it placed at number 13 on the publication’s 50 Best Albums of 2025. The single “Pussy Palace” reached number 21 on NME’s Best Songs list for the same year.
Touring in support of “West End Girl” marks Allen’s first full tour since she achieved sobriety after previous struggles with binge drinking and drug abuse.
