Live Scorecard: Ben Whittaker Earns Unanimous Verdict Over Conor Wallace in IBF Title Eliminator

Billed as the most significant challenge of his professional career to date, Ben Whittaker faces Conor Wallace in a twelve-round IBF light-heavyweight final eliminator at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena.

A victory places the undefeated Birmingham native squarely in the world title conversation, bringing him one step closer to a mandatory championship opportunity. To advance, Whittaker must overcome the Australia-based Irishman, a rangy southpaw and pressure fighter whose profile suggests a step up in competition compared to Whittaker’s previous opponents.

Yet, Wallace has not yet tested himself on a stage of this magnitude. Conversely, Whittaker has shown consistent improvement under the guidance of trainer Andy Lee, tallying four knockouts in his last four outings as he expands his fanbase.

The Matchroom-promoted main event offers a compelling stylistic contrast, pitting the hometown fighter’s unorthodox movement and explosive punching against the visitor’s disciplined distance management and consistent output. The victor will become the number one contender for the title currently held by Dmitry Bivol, who is scheduled to defend it against Callum Smith this December.
