Euro 2024 winner Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth contract is set to expire by season’s end.

Liverpool remains focused on bolstering its wide attack, with interest in multiple players.

Per Fabrizio Romano, the club has active discussions with RB Leipzig regarding 20-G/A forward Yan Diomande, while also monitoring PSG’s Bradley Barcola. Negotiations for Diomande have progressed to official bids, while Barcola’s potential move is continuously evaluated internally.

Liverpool’s need for quality wing players is clear. Following Victor Munoz’s recent arrival from Osasuna, the club aims to secure another top-tier winger before the transfer deadline.

Romano stated to the Born ‘N Red podcast: “I’m not debating between players—I’m sharing what I know. That includes Liverpool maintaining contact with both Diomande and Barcola.

“Diomande’s talks are advanced with Leipzig and agents, whereas Barcola’s situation involves ongoing internal discussions at Liverpool.”

“Internally, Barcola is discussed weekly. They admire him and had expressed interest since summer 2025, though it wasn’t feasible then. They truly love the player!”

Barcola’s consistent performances for France and PSG, including 20 goal contributions last season, highlight his potential as a Premier League prospect. His ability to play regularly under Liverpool’s system could make him a valuable long-term asset.
