Madison Square Garden ensured Hulk Hogan was not forgotten on the first anniversary of his passing.
On July 24, exactly one year after Hogan died, the iconic venue displayed a large tribute on one of its exterior billboards, featuring his photograph and the message, “Rest in Peace Hulk Hogan, 1953 to 2025”.
The tribute held special significance given Hogan’s deep connection to the arena. He helped elevate Madison Square Garden to national prominence in the 1980s and beyond, headlining numerous sold‑out shows that cemented its status as a premier sports‑entertainment destination.
Many of his most memorable career moments took place at the Garden, making it one of the venues most closely associated with “The Hulkster.”
Meanwhile, fans worldwide commemorated the anniversary, and Hogan’s son Nick shared an emotional Instagram post reflecting on the difficult year and expressing his longing for one more hug, laugh, or conversation with his father.
