The MTV Video Music Awards, held on Sunday evening in downtown Los Angeles, saw major victories for Taylor Swift, Madonna, and LISA.
Madonna returned to the stage for the first time in over two decades, earning several accolades, including the artist of the year honor.
Additionally, Taylor Swift received the inaugural Artist Director Honor alongside the night’s premier prize, video of the year.
