The Palestinian Authority plans to hold presidential elections in 2027, according to a report by the PA’s official WAFA news agency on Sunday.
PA President Mahmoud Abbas announced the planned vote and said he is expected to issue a decree calling for elections to the Palestinian Legislative Council, which would be held in November 2026.
