Major US Networks Boycott White House Event as Trump Speech is Drowned Out by Helicopter Noise

During a ceremony to unveil a new White House helicopter landing pad, President Trump addressed attendees while major US television networks staged a boycott. The networks withdrew in protest after CNN, which was part of the press pool, was barred from the grounds. To make matters more difficult, the loud thunder of a helicopter operating nearby rendered the president’s speech completely inaudible from start to finish.
