View Chelsea summer 2026 transfer targets
Manchester United are actively pursuing another midfielder despite the recent signing of Chelsea’s Andrey Santos.
The Red Devils have secured a verbal agreement valued at £50 million for Santos, with his medical scheduled for tomorrow. He is set to become the club’s second midfield acquisition this summer, following the anticipated medical for Ederson in the coming days.
Despite these additions, Manchester United continue to seek further reinforcement in midfield, targeting a marquee signing in the near future.
Among their primary candidates is Real Madrid’s Aurelien Tchouameni, though he has not yet expressed willingness to join the club. Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes is also under consideration, but the Brazilian player reportedly favors a transfer to Arsenal.
The club is exploring additional transfer possibilities, with speculation linking them to Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez. Fernandez has expressed a desire to compete in the Champions League next season.
