According to reports from The Guardian, Newcastle United’s Lewis Hall has emerged as Manchester United’s preferred acquisition this summer. The Red Devils are actively seeking a young left-back who can eventually succeed Luke Shaw in their defensive lineup.

Hall has proven his worth as an essential player for Newcastle, consistently demonstrating his quality throughout his Premier League appearances. Compared to Lewis-Skelly, Hall represents a more established and immediately impactful option for United’s defense.

Despite this interest, Newcastle appear reluctant to part with Hall, having already permitted the departures of several key players including Anthony Gordon, Bruno Guimaraes, and Sandro Tonali. The Magpies are determined to avoid further weakening their squad depth.
