Toronto announced Monday that forward Max Domi will remain out indefinitely following complications from offseason surgery. The club stated he will continue to work with its medical staff and be re‑evaluated prior to the start of training camp in September.
The winger appeared in all but two games during the 2025‑26 regular season, recording 12 goals and 36 points — his highest offensive totals in four years — while posting a career‑low minus‑29 rating. The Leafs finished second‑to‑last in the Eastern Conference and missed the playoffs for the first time since the 2016‑17 season.
