Weston Wilson and Randy Arozarena each contributed to Seattle’s four-run fourth inning, as the Mariners secured a 8-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays in St. Petersburg, Fla., preventing their six-game losing streak in Florida.

The team added three runs in the second inning before extending their lead with two home runs, marking their best offensive performance of the series.

J.P. Crawford delivered three hits with two doubles, three RBIs, a run, and a walk. Josh Naylor reached base three times via single, walk, and hit-by-pitch.

Starter Emerson Hancock exited the second inning after a hand injury sustained in the first. He recorded two strikeouts and a walk over 1 2/3 innings without allowing a hit.

Jose A. Ferrer (2-1) pitched 1 1/3 innings, allowing only one hit while striking out two, including All-Star Junior Caminero.

The American League East-leading Rays retired former third baseman Evan Longoria’s No. 3 in a pregame ceremony but managed just four hits in the game.

Jonathan Aranda reached 64 RBIs with a home run, while Yandy Diaz went 2-for-4 with a run.

Ian Seymour (6-2) gave up six runs (five earned) on six hits across 3 1/3 innings, with three strikeouts and three walks.
