The Vegas Golden Knights have appointed Mark Letestu as an assistant coach.
Letestu led the AHL’s Colorado Eagles during the 2025‑26 season, steering them to a 41‑20‑6‑5 record, a second‑place finish in the Pacific Division, and a berth in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals. He also served as head coach of the Pacific squad in the 2026 AHL All‑Star Classic.
The 41‑year‑old previously spent four seasons as an assistant coach with the Cleveland Monsters, contributing to a North Division championship in 2023‑24 and a conference finals appearance that same season.
Letestu’s 13‑year professional playing career spanned 567 NHL games for the Pittsburgh Penguins, Columbus Blue Jackets, Edmonton Oilers, and Winnipeg Jets. Drafted by the Penguins out of Western Michigan University, he debuted with the Wilkes‑Barre/Scranton Penguins in 2007 and compiled 72 goals and 112 assists for 184 points over 255 AHL games with the Penguins and Monsters.
