Mark McMillan has assumed the position of global head of electronic foreign exchange quantitative trading at UBS, bringing his expertise to the Swiss financial institution. He previously served as global head of electronic FX trading at Nomura for seven months, a role that integrated trading, sales, strategic analysis, and quantitative functions. At Nomura, McMillan’s departure prompts Chris Torrington and Ben Robson to manage electronic FX trading and sales divisions, respectively, retaining oversight of the business they previously led. UBS has also recently expanded its team with the addition of Hamzah Khalid, underscoring the bank’s strategic focus on electronic trading capabilities.
