Mass Mobilization: The Rapid Expansion of India’s “Cockroach” Protest Movement

Thousands of demonstrators are planning to march toward India’s parliament following a call by the satirical Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) for reforms to the education system.

Although the organization is not a legitimate political party and originated as satire, it staged its largest demonstration on Monday.
