Mattel has announced a new three-pack action figure set featuring pop icon Cyndi Lauper, wrestling legend “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, and Captain Lou Albano. The collection draws inspiration from the June 16, 1984, episode of Piper’s Pit, a pivotal moment that sparked the Rock ‘n Roll Connection and helped launch WWE into mainstream culture.
The set will be available exclusively at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) and through Mattel Creations starting July 23, with a retail price of $80.00. Designed to celebrate the iconic crossover between music and wrestling, the figures are part of a premium window-box packaging styled after 1980s-era televisions.
