Manchester United have been handed a huge defensive injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Leeds United on the road this weekend.
Manchester United have endured a challenging start to the season under manager Michael Carrick, currently sitting near the bottom of the Premier League table with only six points from their opening matches.
As pressure mounts on Carrick to reverse the team’s fortunes, a significant boost has arrived ahead of the trip to Elland Road. Defender Noussair Mazraoui has returned to training, recovering from a hip issue sustained while on international duty with Morocco.
Although Mazraoui experienced discomfort during his international duties, he has made a swift recovery and is now back in training. The former Bayern Munich player is in contention to feature in the starting lineup against Leeds this weekend.
With Luke Shaw deemed doubtful due to injury, Mazraoui could be deployed at left-back for the crucial fixture against the Peacocks on Sunday.
