Having just rung the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday, Melania Trump discussed the expanding role of artificial intelligence in a wide‑ranging interview on ‘The Big Money Show,’ offering advice to the public and sharing her own experience with the technology.
“AI is a major topic these days, and many people feel uneasy about it. We must stay vigilant and use it wisely,” she told the show’s hosts.
She also urged users not to accept everything at face value and to educate themselves on how to discern credible information from misinformation.

Artificial intelligence has become a central focus for Americans as the United States pushes ahead with the technology while grappling with regulation and concerns about its potential threats to humanity.
President Donald Trump advocated for American leadership in AI during his address to the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday.
“Whoever prevails in AI—whether it’s artificial intelligence or superintelligence—will hold the advantage,” he said. “The United States currently leads China by a significant margin, and we intend to maintain that lead with a clear and resolute strategy.”

As the United States advances its AI adoption, the first lady was asked how the technology should be integrated into education and family life.
“It should be incorporated,” she replied.

Mrs. Trump pointed to the AI competition with China, noting that President Xi Jinping’s state visit underscores the urgency.
“China is coming for a visit, but they won’t pause their progress; we must move forward and educate ourselves,” she emphasized.
She also highlighted the educational benefits of AI for children.
“For the children as well, I recently visited North Carolina, where Nvidia donated a subscription to local schools,” she said. “This helps them understand the technology, and it’s crucial to remain vigilant while recognizing the educational value of AI.”
“But you must be very careful about how you use it,” she reiterated.
Turning to her own use of AI, the first lady told the show’s co‑hosts how she applies the technology.
“I use it primarily for research,” Trump explained. “It’s simple: when I don’t know something, I look it up, type it in, and get immediate information.”
Trump also described how she verifies the information provided by AI.
“If a response seems questionable, I cross‑check it elsewhere; that’s how I employ AI for search and knowledge acquisition.”
