UFC lightweight contender Michael Chandler has been confirmed for a role at next week’s WWE NXT Halloween Havoc event. NXT General Manager Robert Stone announced via social media that Chandler will serve as the special guest enforcer for the unsanctioned match between Cruz Montana and Dion Lennox.
The “Unsanctioned Match” stipulation indicates the bout falls outside standard WWE jurisdiction, with the company explicitly waiving all liability for the proceedings. This marks Chandler’s latest involvement with WWE programming following his appearance in the crowd at SummerSlam 2026 in Minnesota this past August.
Chandler’s initial WWE television appearance occurred in February 2024 during a Raw broadcast, where he publicly challenged Conor McGregor to a bout that ultimately never materialized. McGregor subsequently suffered an injury early in his return fight at UFC 329 in July 2026, resulting in a loss to Max Holloway.
