Crypto luminary Michael Saylor forecasts bitcoin to break above $100,000 within the coming year, signaling the start of a robust new bull cycle.

Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency by market cap, currently trades near $81,800, having risen from roughly $75,900 a month ago after the Senate blocked the Clarity Act in a procedural vote.

Strategy Inc. Executive Chairman Michael Saylor argued that the collapse of a major legislative package on Capitol Hill was actually beneficial for the crypto sector.

“Bitcoin didn’t need the law,” Saylor remarked.

He noted that the stalled 630‑page Clarity Act was burdened with heavy restrictions; its collapse broke a legislative impasse in Washington.

In response, the Treasury moved to back stablecoins, the SEC cleared the path for tokenized securities, and the CFTC opened the door to prediction markets and derivatives.

“It was really the best thing that could happen for the industry because we got constructive guidance we can grow with; none of the bill’s restrictions became law,” Saylor said.

Skeptics fear that future administrations could attempt to roll back these regulatory gains, but Saylor dismissed such concerns, likening crypto’s early stage to the pioneering days of Uber and Airbnb.

If digital assets enrich 100 million Americans by the next election cycle, Saylor noted, no politician would dare to take that away.

Traditional banking giants are already moving aggressively into bitcoin custody services and credit lines.

Meanwhile, Saylor cautioned that Wall Street is overlooking digital‑asset opportunities while focusing on speculative, overpriced AI ventures.

As autonomous AIs prepare to trade 24/7 at light speed, Saylor views bitcoin as the sole scarce safe haven.
