Centerspace shares jumped more than 8% after the apartment-focused real estate investment trust agreed to merge with Independence Realty Trust in an all-stock transaction valued at $8.1 billion enterprise value. Under the terms, Centerspace shareholders will receive approximately 3.8 shares of IRT common stock for each Centerspace share.

Academy Sports and Outdoors gained 8% after raising its adjusted earnings outlook for the fiscal year ending January 2027 to a range of $6.50 to $6.90 per share, up from the prior $6.40 to $6.80 range and above the FactSet consensus of $6.43.

Meta Platforms rose 6%, defying broader market weakness, following Tuesday’s launch of a personal AI agent application.

Mission Produce climbed 4% after the avocado producer exceeded all analyst estimates for both adjusted earnings per share and revenue in its fiscal third quarter.

Apple slipped 1% as investors awaited a product event expected to unveil new iPhones, including a foldable model.

Casey’s General Stores tumbled more than 15% after reporting mixed fiscal first-quarter results. While earnings and revenue beat expectations, the convenience store chain posted a 0.3% year-over-year decline in fuel sales, and prepared food and dispensed beverage sales grew slightly less than anticipated.

Signet Jewelers surged 19% on stronger-than-expected second-quarter earnings. The jeweler reported adjusted earnings of $2.19 per share, well above the FactSet estimate of $1.74, and raised its full-year earnings guidance.

ServiceTitan plunged over 30% after its third-quarter revenue guidance missed analyst estimates. The software company did beat second-quarter revenue expectations, reporting $292.8 million versus the $285.9 million consensus, and lifted its full-year revenue outlook.

Braze shares fell 19% after the customer engagement platform missed revenue estimates, though it did exceed earnings per share forecasts.

Chime Financial advanced 4% after the fintech company reported better-than-expected second-quarter earnings and issued third-quarter revenue guidance of $680 million to $690 million, surpassing the $640.6 million analyst estimate.
