The full lineup for MIKE’s Young World V has been revealed. Headliners Max B and MIKE will be joined by Niontay, Thirteendegrees°, EristhePlanet, Salimata, and Black Noi$e. The free, all‑ages festival returns to Brooklyn’s Herbert Von King Park on July 11 as part of New York’s SummerStage series.
MIKE launched Young World in 2019. The festival paused during the pandemic, and last year’s edition was abruptly canceled without explanation. This year, his performance will debut the Band of the Century, the live ensemble he assembled for his Tiny Desk Concert.
Earlier this year, MIKE collaborated with Earl Sweatshirt and the Surf Gang production team on the split album Pompeii // Utility, which draws stylistic parallels to Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. The North American leg of their joint tour has been postponed, with new dates pending announcement.
Max B has enjoyed a busy live‑performance year after his release from prison in November, following 16 years of incarceration. The following month he issued the mixtape Public Domain 7: The Purge, featuring verses from A$AP Rocky and Kehlani, among other artists.
The lineup also includes Max B, Thirteendegrees°, EristhePlanet, The Words, Niontay, Black Noi$e, and MIKE with the Band of the Century.
