“The entire Odyssey film is shown in an embedded video on Twitter. This is astonishing,” a user posted on X.

“Someone leaked the Odyssey movie in high definition. I initially thought it was a hoax, but it turned out to be real,” another user said.

The Hollywood Reporter saidexternal that a lower‑quality version of the film was posted on X on Sunday and was removed two hours later after reaching nearly 50,000 views.

In response, Universal Studios said it became aware of the unauthorized posting of the film and immediately initiated takedown protocols.

“We take copyright infringement very seriously and will pursue all appropriate remedies to protect our content and intellectual property rights.”

The leak is unlikely to significantly affect the film’s box‑office performance; it earned $215 million (£160 million) worldwide in its second weekend, bringing its total to $640 million (£480 million).
