Millwall have completed the signing of Indonesia international Elkan Baggott from Ipswich Town for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old centre-back drops back down to the Championship following the Tractor Boys’ promotion to the Premier League.
“He’s a good age, has a real appetite to improve and fits the profile we look for defensively,” Steve Gallen, Millwall’s director of football, told the club’s official website.
The Lions have not disclosed the length of the agreement, describing it only as a “long-term” contract.
Baggott, who progressed through the Ipswich academy to make nine senior appearances, becomes the club’s fifth addition of the summer transfer window.
His development has been shaped by loan spells at King’s Lynn Town, Gillingham, Cheltenham Town, Bristol Rovers, and Blackpool, while he has also accumulated 27 caps for Indonesia at international level.
