Modelling Scout Connected to Jeffrey Epstein Dies at Home in Paris Suburbs

Daniel Siad, 69, a modelling scout previously linked to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, was found dead at his residence in the Paris suburb of Colombes.

The Nanterre prosecutor’s office confirmed the discovery to the BBC, stating that an investigation into the cause of death was launched on Monday evening. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the circumstances surrounding his passing.

Siad’s name surfaced thousands of times in documents related to Epstein that were released by U.S. authorities. He had consistently denied being aware of any danger posed by Epstein.

One of Epstein’s accusers, identified only as Anya, previously told the BBC that Siad had introduced her to the financier. Her testimony added further scrutiny to Siad’s role in Epstein’s inner circle.

Before a BBC investigation published on July 18, Siad’s lawyer declined to comment on the matter. However, Siad had earlier maintained that he did not know Epstein was a threat.
