The WWE tag team that entered today as champions not only lost their titles, but their partnership has now ended.
Today’s WWE NXT Heatwave premium live event on the CW Network featured several title changes, two of which involved Myles Borne.
First, Borne and Tavion Heights dropped the NXT Tag Team Championship to Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes of Vanity Project.
Borne and Heights had held the titles for only a few weeks after reuniting their partnership from several years ago, when they were members of the No Quarter Catch Crew.
Later in the event, Borne—who was competing in a double‑duty role—returned to defend his WWE NXT North American Championship against Vanity Project’s Jackson Drake.
Once again, Borne’s title defense proved unsuccessful; Drake secured the victory after interference from the rest of Vanity Project, despite Heights’ effort to shield Borne from the numerical disadvantage.
After the bout, Heights stepped into the ring to rally the audience behind Borne, but this only enraged the already frustrated Borne, who snapped and delivered his Borne Again finishing move on Heights before exiting the arena in a manner reminiscent of Randy Orton.
The incident appears to mark a heel turn for Borne and signals the end of his partnership with Heights, setting the stage for a future one‑on‑one showdown.

Additional Title Changes at WWE NXT Heatwave
As reported, WWE NXT Heatwave featured multiple title changes, starting with Zaria capturing the Women’s Speed Title and unifying it with the Women’s North American Championship.
In another women’s division development, Kelani Jordan defeated Kendal Grey to claim the NXT Women’s Championship, marking her first‑ever title shot.
Also at Heatwave, Jaida Parker forced WWE main‑roster star Nattie to submit with her own Sharpshooter hold.
