Having secured nearly every individual accolade available to a defensive end during his tenure with the Browns, Myles Garrett is now prioritizing collective success.
Following his trade to the Rams, Garrett explained on the team’s YouTube channel that he believes he has joined an organization capable of winning a Super Bowl.
“I’ve done pretty much everything I set out to do in Cleveland; I gave my all and everything I had, and I am very grateful for my time there,” Garrett stated. “But my goal has always been winning. I want to win a championship, and I’m happy to be part of a franchise that is positioned to achieve that now and for years to come.”
Garrett noted that the leadership of head coach Sean McVay and General Manager Les Snead made Los Angeles an attractive destination, citing their ability to build a sustainable contender.
“It starts with Sean and Les making this an appealing destination,” Garrett added.
While Garrett’s time with the Browns included only two playoff appearances—neither of which progressed past the divisional round—he enters this new chapter with significantly higher expectations.
