This year’s symposium will center on humanity’s return to the Moon, the development of sustainable lunar infrastructure, next-generation space propulsion technologies, and the dynamic evolution of the space workforce.

Featured panels will explore Artemis II and III missions, space propulsion flash talks, utilities and infrastructure for sustainable lunar operations, supply chain resilience for a lunar outpost, space nuclear technology, navigating the new NASA workforce, and engineering the future—including keynote addresses and awards presentations.

Key NASA speakers include:

  • Deputy Associate Administrator Casey Swails
  • Stephen Cash, Director, NASA Marshall
  • Nicky Fox, Associate Administrator, Science Mission Directorate, NASA Headquarters
  • Charlie Blackwell-Thompson, Artemis II Launch Director, NASA Kennedy
  • Steve Creech, Program Manager, Human Landing System, NASA Marshall

To schedule an interview with these NASA speakers during the event, media representatives must contact Lance D. Davis (lance.d.davis@nasa.gov) and Joel Wallace (joel.w.wallace@nasa.gov).

Those wishing to attend in person or virtually must register through the American Astronomical Society.

Organized by the American Astronautical Society in collaboration with NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, the annual gathering brings together leaders from government, industry, policy, and academia to evaluate the current landscape of space exploration and chart a path forward.
